The Peterborough Patchworker's Federation Wall hanging took in excess of 1,700 hours to complete and was constructed during 2001 to commemorate the Federation of Australia.
It was launched on the 1st of December 2001 and is housed in the Federation Foyer of the Town Hall. The cabinet was built specifically by the Peterborough Cabinet Makers.
The Town Hall is open to the public from approximately 9am until 4:30pm Monday to Friday but is closed on weekends and public holidays. For access when the Town Hall is closed a key is available from the Tourist Information Centre for a refundable deposit of $5.00.
