Your donation of $35 or more entitles you to have yours, or a relatives name engraved into a paver as a lasting record. This will be permanently installed in a Railway memorial in Peterborough.
Please note that the persons name on the paver has had to have worked in the Railways in Peterborough
The District Council of Peterborough
in conjunction with the Steamtown Railway
Preservation Society
is planning to build a memorial to the Railway men who
were based in Peterborough and lost their lives at work. As
part of this project we are also planning to have a walk
way consisting of pavers with names on them of people
who have worked in the railways in Peterborough.
This opportunity will give you or a relative the
chance to go down in history.
A unique and lasting record of

The details on the paver should consist of the persons’
name, and what their occupation was when they worked in
the railways at Peterborough. The occupation is to be
what that person was when they either moved to
another town, left the railways or retired.
