Just under half an hours drive North West of Peterborough is the town of Orroroo. At Orroroo why not venture to the top of Tank Hill Lookout to get a panoramic view of the town and surrounding area. You can see the State's largest River Red Gum Tree in Pekina Creek and also an old railway bridge which was constructed in 1882 using hand rivets. Why not stop at the Lions Park and have lunch. Their is a self drive tour available from the information centre in Peterborough that includes a detailed drive from Peterborough up to and around Orroroo and then back to Peterborough.
