The Peterborough History Group SA Inc is gathering information about former Mayors of Petersburg/Peterborough and Chairpersons of the  former Peterborough District Council.  Our intention is to lay pavers in front of the Town Hall to acknowledge their service to our town and district.  In addition we wish to expand the information to include their families, any business interests and any other town activities in which they were involved.  This extra information helps to make their history live for future generations and will be available on our data base for researchers and any other interested people.  We would like to complete this project for the SA 175 Years Celebrations which is being held in 2011.
